Our History

Custom Control Mfr. was established in 1977, primarily as a panel manufacturer in the energy industry; we primarily designed and built relay driven control panels. As the computer began to find its way into factory automation, we added programming services to provide turn-key automation solutions. Today, business leaders and central engineers need remote access to process data. We develop networking solutions and secure data highways to allow process conditions to be monitored from the plant floor to the office environment.

Our team of engineers and programmers have over 200 years of combined experience in the industrial automation industry. If you have worked with us on a previous project, our team will be familiar with the scope to provide after-market support or equipment upgrade after decades of successful operation.

Custom Control Mfr. is pleased to be a Phoenix Contact System Integration Partner. Phoenix Contact manufacturers low-voltage industrial electrical and electronic technology products that power, protect, connect and automate systems and equipment.

As a Phoenix Contact System Integrator, we are able to provide a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all Phoenix Contact hardware when it is interconnected. This warranty is valuable for contractors and end users to support operations and maintenance activities for the life of our offerings.

Rockwell Automation recognizes Custom Control Mfr. as a Bronze Level OEM Partner. Rockwell is a market leader in industrial control systems, power distribution equipment, and networking. We are recognized by programming and developing graphics packages for Rockwell Automation systems, including ControlLogix, PlantPAx, and SCADA. Custom Control Mfr. systems integrated with Rockwell are located at the leading commercial airports, pet-food manufacturers, and power generation facilities in the United States.

AVEVA

AVEVA is a leader in the real-time operations management software. Custom Control Mfr. has developed HMI and remote-access solutions with Wonderware for over 20 years for System Platform, InTouch, and Edge. We provide Wonderware solutions for our industrial automation clients to enable companies to synchronize their production and industrial operations with business objectives.

Through AVEVA’s partnership with Schneider Electric, Custom Control Mfr. is recognized as a Schneider Electric System Integration Alliance Partner.

Schneider Electric

Schneider Electric recognizes Custom Control Mfr. as a System Integration Alliance Partner. This program recognizes our capabilities with integration of the SE Modicon PLC/PAC automation platform and HMI programs. In addition, we utilize many of the other components manufactured by Schneider Electric, including low/medium voltage power distribution, Variable Frequency Drives, and industrial automation equipment.

Underwriters Laboratories 508A

We have been a UL Partner since November 1992, providing Control Panels under the 508A standard. This standard provides the highest requirements for design, component selection, construction, and testing of Industrial Control Panels. This value-added service can be provided to list any control panel that we manufacture, which supports the safety and insurance requirements of a user.

ISNetworld

We have been a UL Partner since November, 1992. From that time until now we have provided UL listed enclosed industrial panels for hundreds of Control and Power Panels.
